Spotty Verizon. hosts are very nice but we didn’t have a lot of interaction with them except Friday. The Wolf Creek Inn and Tavern is the coolest place and has excellent food. A must if you stay here or ride through

Small park just off the highway. Clean and quiet. Nice host. There are $30 sites with W/E but we chose a $25. No Utility site, #13, backed up to the river. Most looked somewhat level. We were in a cabover camper. Not sure I’d bring in a rig over 32 feet. Outhouse was clean. Only 1 other person here besides us on 4/26/24.

The campground is in a nice forest. The site had electric and water. It was a fairly level back-in site with a picnic table and campfire ring. The toilets are dry pit and are brand new this year. No showers. Firewood is available for purchase from the on-site host. Be prepared for many speedbumps on the roads. Reservations have to be made 3 days in advance, but you can just show up. No sign of any homeless as noted in prior reviews.

We frequently travel the I-5 corridor to visit family in Oregon and are always looking for an overnight stop where the sound of traffic is not to loud and we’re far enough away from the train tracks to limit that noise also. This park does a good job of both although you still can hear them in the distance. On a Thursday night we were one of just 5 campsites occupied although I imagine weekends are more crowded. We didn’t notice any bad issues with homeless population and there were 2 campers that looked like they might have been longer term campers. It’s an older park but we had power and water which made it nice for running our AC during our most recent heat wave. Not a good choice for big rigs but we fit our 30 foot TT in within minimal jockeying. There wasn’t a campground host present during our stay.

We made the mistake of leaving in the middle of the day to get groceries and they broke the lock to our trailer and stole over$1500 worth of goods. You will notice the park is mostly empty and this is why. Homeless panhandlers will be hitting you up before your car comes to rest and then daily. You have drug addicts shooting up in the kids park and then sleeping it off. I feel sorry for the actual locals who come to the park and have to endure this. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We had to go to plan B since a park was not going open because of snow. We found this park and it was convient right off of I5 and a bonus 76 gas station that was very easy to get into at the same exit. This is an old, overgrown county park and not well maintained. The sights are very hard to see because of the weeds and trees. Many overhanging trees and branches make it very difficult to maneuver through the park. Most sites appeared to be very unlevel. Partial hookups with water and 30 amp, no sewers. The dump station was almost not accessible because of tight turns and low hanging tree branches. No shower facilities and only pit toilets. But we must say it was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed that. Had some down time and both the car and RV got much needed baths. There is a small creek that runs behind the park with a trail to London's Peak. It's not marked and the bridge is gone but the host told us where it began. It's about a 4-5 mile out and back through the forest. You reach the peak and can see the area of Wolf Creek below. Also a nice day trip into Grants Pass is only about 20 miles away.
