Book early for the weekends in October. They have a spooky campsite with trick or treating every weekend in October. Well maintained campgrounds. Paved road access. I love the location - close to a big city but far enough away to relax. The site I had was clean, included water, electricity, sewer and wifi. It was very close to a trail that went around the lake. I felt safe and it was gated. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights here and it was a great stay. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Close to city amenities if you need them. The park has hiking and bike trails, kayaking/canoeing, splashpark, and a marina to rent boats etc.
Clean bathhouses. Not much shade in our section, however the electric only sites had better shade.

We took our first camping trip here. It was amazing. Kids loved the playground and the trail to walk. We stayed 2 nights and went to the zoo. It was an amazing trip. Can’t wait to visit here again.

This was a very nice campground. The site was very level and you were not crammed on top of the site next to you.the site was near the bath house that was very clean and modern.

Beautiful Country campground near Cincinatti. The full hook up sites were booked so we opted for an electric only site which was just fine. Note: we have a 39ft motorhome. Sites 28 and 29 are probably your best bet for larger rv's in this area of the campground. Bathroom was immaculate, cleaned 2x a day. Really nice trails for walking ... more
Beautiful Country campground near Cincinatti. The full hook up sites were booked so we opted for an electric only site which was just fine. Note: we have a 39ft motorhome. Sites 28 and 29 are probably your best bet for larger rv's in this area of the campground. Bathroom was immaculate, cleaned 2x a day. Really nice trails for walking and exploring. In addition to all of this only 30 minutes from downtown if your looking to see a ballgame etc...
Also a great place to stock up if you need supplies and get some everyday things done . Kroger, Walmart, UPS and Target close by.

Winton Woods Campground is a part of a busy, friendly little county park. It's quiet and easily accessible by any rig. We enjoyed the running trails that meander around the park. Our cat enjoyed the fantastic array of birds that visited her window-mounted bird feeder.
We stayed here during the tail end of winter camping season into the first 14 days of Spring season camping. Spring, Summer, and Fall camping are subject to a 14-day stay limit. Winter camping season involves no stay limit, but water is turned off and bathhouses are closed during the Winter camping season (December - February - special rates apply).
The campground was usually quiet, save for some excited families and/or teens during the weekends (music, laughter, fireworks). The campground is gated for vehicle entry, but park patrons frequently walk through on their exercise routes. We stayed in a pull-though site (1R - handicap accessible) which was level, concrete, and large. The campsites in the front loop are all full-hook-up and level, whereas the campsites in the back loops are less predictably level and have varying degrees of hook-ups.
We enjoyed the paved walking trail around the pond at the park connecting to the campground. The park also boasts a children's spray park, playground, and paddle boat/kayak rentals.
The campground and park are ~25-30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati by car.
We used Starlink at this location but also had 5G service through Verizon.

14F is right next to the Wifi repeater and I was able to work off the signal.

We enjoyed this campground. Access was easy. We pulled in, got a hang tag, map and gate code. There are both FHU and electric-only sites in this campground. The FHU sites are basically in a parking lot at the front with little to no shade. Our site was on the loop in the back with a beautiful view of the lake. Bathrooms were clean. The only negative about the bathroom situation is there is no bath house convenient to the lakeside sites. There are two portable toilets which we did not use. There's a great playground for the kids and a large picnic shelter as well. Winton Woods has many beautiful hiking trails. Kayaks and canoes can be rented. There's no swimming due to the presence of blue green algae in the lake, though. We saw lots of people fishing. The sites themselves were super clean and well maintained. We had to use quite a few blocks to get level side to side. We loved the spacious sites. This is our favorite Cincinnati-area campground.

It was an awesome site location. I would definitely try to book the same site again. The campground itself is also in a good location, just outside Cincinnati. The bathrooms and shower house were very clean and well kept. Everyone at the campground was nice and polite, no issues at all. The only things holding this campground back is there's no swimming. Plenty of kayaking and fishing though. You can't go wrong with any of the Hamilton County Parks.
