This is for dog mountain rv resort and not wind mountain, same family and right next door to each other. Pros: good value. They do monthly and it was $700 for a month for my 23ft trailer (longer is more). Full hookups. They had a site for me with short (1 week) notice. Pros: good value. They do monthly and it was $700 for a month for my 23ft trailer (longer is more). Full hookups. They had a site for me with short (1 week) notice. Location fantastic for hood river (get a toll transponder to make bridge crossings cheaper).
Meh: a lot of trees with sticky sap. Expect to need to do a good washing after your stay. My spot was small and along one of the “roads” of the park. There isn’t a lot of traffic from customers but there is a lot of traffic from the owners while doing maintenance and yard work, etc.
With a booster I got 2 bars LTE on ATT, 4 bars 5g T-Mobile, and 2 bars LTE Verizon.
I would easily stay here again.

We used it as an overnight stop, but wouldn't stay again. If you do choose to go, approach it from the western direction. The highway to the east of this place has low clearance tunnels and the bridge over the Columbia in that direction is horribly narrow.

Sites are spread apart and have fire ring & picnic table. Across the street from the Columbia River, easy walk to river access. Clean bathrooms & laundry. Friendly staff & host. It is a nice place to sit back & relax...until the train goes by. Our site was on a hill, with a great view of the Oregon side of the river. If we looked down we saw the owners garage with all the vehicles parked. So we didn't look down, just up at the trees & the mountains. Town is very close with grocery store and several tap rooms. Lots of shops and beautiful waterfront to watch wind surfers.
