We left solar panels out with no problems but the host has had some issues. Also there were problems with the payment drop off post but they kept working on it. Over Labor Day weekend, the campground did not fill up.

Vault toilets, first come first serve-pay envelopes at entrance and midway of campground with drop boxes. Wouldn’t recommend campers over 25 ft. Very narrow dirt trail , low tree branches and not so much room for backing in. We were in space #15 which was pretty pleasant.

We drove into the campground with our 26’ Class A rig and the low-hanging branches and bush along the road rubbed several times before we got to our site. The way out was a little more open but it really could use some pruning! The reservoir broke the dam in 2016 so the lake is non-existent. Leave your boat at home. Some campsites are open for solar gain while most are shaded. Each had a fire ring; some with a grate. All had a picnic table and many had an outdoor latrine between campsites. The sites were clean and the trash cans empty. A short walk brought you to a vault toilet and a hand pump well with good tasting water. At only $15 I would stay again even though there isn’t much to see or do there. We had NO Verizon service the two days we stayed here. We walked around the campsite and into town but there aren’t any hiking trails. We didn’t go to the state park which is nearby. We did, however, find the 3 geocaches hidden here if you are into that.
