{Before I begin, I do not know what camp the previous reviewer (Janis) stayed at but it was in no way this campground}. What a beautiful and pleasant campground. We only stayed a very short time on our way to our final destination of Virginia Beach. Wish we could have booked this place for a longer stay. Many well kept hiking/walking trails in the woods. We were there off-season so during summer it will most likely be very full of church campers/vacation bible school and the like. The pool was not open but was being prepped for the warmer weeks ahead. Lots of outdoor activities such as soccer, softball, frisbee golf, volleyball, zip lines & rope courses and much more. Of course, several chapels, group fire rings etc. Camp also has group housing for non-RV'ers. This is a nondenominational Christian Camp that welcomes everyone. Easy back-in sites, bathhouse was fine, full hookups worked well. No noise other than nature!

Overall Rating

Half full with permanent residents residing in worn out and unkept campers covered in green mold. Site lacks gravel and has large tree roots. Very narrow if you have slides on both sides. Bathrooms were clean but do need updating. Check in was easy and staff was friendly.
