The best part of this State Park is Eel Lake. It's a beautiful lake with a 10mph speed limit which keeps the water skiers off. It's great for paddling or fishing.
The check-in booth opens at 1400, so if you arrive before then just go directly to your reserved site. Some sites will be a challenge to get into even if the pad is long enough. It will depend on how many of your neighbors are sticking out into the loops with their parked trucks and cars. Although there are signs that tells you to stay on pavement, not everyone does and enforcement seems to be inconsistent.
The rest rooms are old, smelly, and need replacing. There are no FHU sites except for the 6 sites designated for camp hosts. I had no reaction with hosts while I was here, but I saw them driving around on golf carts. The 30A receptacle would not hold my plug so I had to use the 50A receptacle with a 30A adapter.
There will be lots of road noise if you are on the west side of the loops nearer to Hwy 101. This won't be a good campground if you are looking to spend a lot of time on a Oregon Coast Beach as you will need to drive.

A great and well maintained state park. The park is in an ideal location and has so much to offer. Water and electrical were constant and plentiful. Dump station is easy access and clean. We will be coming back—plenty of wildlife in the area.

As many have said, a bit close to 101, but very convenient. The lake is great for kayaks. Some sites (we were in c3 was a little close to the site next to us. Showers and bathrooms very typical for an Oregon state park.

Nice setting, lovely trees, but some sites are a bit too close to US101 traffic. Great hiking trails, the lake, mixed sites & Yurts! Some sites are hard to back into due to obstructions opposite, but most were easy. Great camp hosts, good fire pits. Great separation between most sites.

The restrooms and showers are older, but clean. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Note the sites on the outside of the loop tend to be longer. There are three loops, when we stopped in mid-February A Loop was reservable, B Loop was first come/first served, and C Loop was closed. We had no trouble finding a spot on a holiday weekend. There is a dump station, but no sewer hookups at the campsites.
The campground is situated by Eel Lake and the day use area has a boat ramp. The lake is open for fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating (10 mph limit). There is a trail along most of the lake, but some sections were under several inches of water in February. There is also an off leash dog park (unfenced) and fish trap. The campground is shady with lots of tall trees. It was a tad cold in February for water sports, but we’d love to return with the kayaks in warmer weather.
We had 2bars of Verizon 4G unboosted.

We spent 4 days here in September. We recommend going during the week. There are lots of fishermen during the fall salmon run. Once the fishermen pulled out after the weekend it was nice and quiet. The campground was very clean, including bathrooms and showers. We were tent camping. Great hiking trails and beautiful lake.

Fishermen like to come here when the salmon run is on in the local rivers during the fall. Fisherman get up very early in the morning and they are not always quiet LOL. It is a short driving distance to the ocean and fresh seafood in Winchester Bay. There are also sand dune nearby with dune buggy rentals.
