We pulled in here to find a spot to overnight. Just past the cell tower there’s a big open area that appears to have several long term residents. The roads going further back were too rough for us to attempt with our fifth wheel. With the sketchy vibe and the rough roads we decided not to stay.

Just off I 17, some big rig locations. Paved road until the green waste dump. After that the road is very poor in wet weather. Good cell reception. A few channels of air t.v. heavy use on weekends. Over all it's a nice place.

The gate to the larger area for dispersed camping is still locked as of May 1. Stayed in the right outside the gate where the pavement ends, on the west side of cell tower. Quiet with minimal traffic. Would not suggest taking the smaller side roads that are close to highway, extremely rutted and did not see places to turn around.

Road is truly awful. Some extremely deep ruts along the road. Almost every campsite pull in was muddy and rutted, not confident we wouldn’t get stuck. Drove back about 1.6 miles before we found an open spot. Tons of other campers, most look like they live here year round?
Trash was left behind, and broken glass everywhere from wine bottles being thrown in the fire. Be careful where you let the dogs walk.
Not very sunny if you’re running off solar. No T-Mobile, 2 bars on ATT but acted like none, and forget the starlink with the trees. This is No place to work remotely.
Also, terrifying sounds coming from the woods late into the night too. Like straight out of a horror movie; sounds of some backwoods bugle banjo player? Maybe it was the cows and ranch nearby? Very unsettling though. Left after one night.

This is a great camping site. The roads are rough at times especially during rains, but the sites themselves a large enough to accommodate most any size rig. We stayed here through Labor Day weekend and the four wheelers and side-by-side were horrendous. They were riding all hours of the day from dawn till midnight. They played their obnoxious music loud And ran their generators all day long And some all night long. The sheriff did come ride through here but the four wheelers continued to race up and down our road spewing dust. Don't come here during a holiday for sure.

While our son was napping, the dogs started barking. A small heard of cattle was being moved by cowboys on horse back. It was an amazing site to see. They apologized for getting the dogs excited as one of the cattle dogs came over to say hi. It was no problem. I was blown away at how huge the bull was as it trotted by our front door.
Had full signal so working remotely wasn’t an issue. Very peaceful, probably 4-5 other campers and plenty of room.

Loved that the campsites are very large and I had lots of area to walk my dogs and hike. The only con is no garbage dumpster. It had rained quite heavy before I got there and the roadway towards some of the campsites were quite rutted. I bent a level leg and my sway bar holder making a u-turn due to the large ruts. Expensive lesson learned.

Stopped at this site for one night traveling from Grand Canyon to Phoenix. My experience was the same as many other reviews here. During the day there was ALOT of off-road vehicle traffic. However, they were all courteous and traffic died down shortly after sunset. It was very populated with other campers but sites are spread out enough that you we did not hear or see our neighbors. We took a nice hike in the area around our site in the afternoon for a nice walk through the woods. The road is not in the best shape but should be accessible by any vehicle if you take it slow. There is no dumpster or bathrooms anywhere in the area.

Highly recommend camping here! Big rigs no problem. We have a 34 footer and sites will easily accommodate larger rigs. There are campers with 4 wheelers driving around but they are very respectful. Some sites can accommodate several rigs at once if your convoying.

We truly enjoyed our time here. When coming in you can go straight or turn to the left. There is a ton of space here; there were many campers, especially since we were here during Memorial Day weekend, but you are never close to each other. Lots of room to spread out. The cattle roaming and hanging out with us was a bonus. We travel full-time and our home base is Oregon, this area reminded us both of central Oregon.
Cell service was a bit spotty even though there is a Verizon tower right when you come in, some folks stayed outside of the treed area; I'm guessing to get better service. We were able to work for the two weeks we were there, it just dropped occasionally.
