I find private space away from the main parking lot and enjoy a lot of privacy. The hot springs have visitors from all over the world. Can socialize and soak, then head back to privacy. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Very nice hot pools, perfect for relaxing. But avoid to stay there at night. A lot of junkies heading there all night long. The guy next us was a fu*** crack junkie and made strange noise during the night, dancing half naked around his fire. Would never stay there again. Good for a day visit. Night only for junkies and alcoholics

A short, easy drive from Highway 395. There’s several spots to choose from in the immediate area near the hot spring, but be prepared to have plenty of company. We were there in the middle of the week (with all this covid crap going on), and there were people coming and going all day. That said, it was relatively quiet and clean from litter.
There was a bathroom in the parking lot where most people park for the springs, but it was boarded up.
The hot springs are a short walk from the parking lot all on a boardwalk! There are a few pools to choose from which were warmer the farther up the hill and cooler the farther down the hill. Absolutely beautiful views of mountains in all directions! Aw, we’re so lucky to enjoy all this natural beauty for free!

“Beautiful, Not Big Rig Friendly ”
noted 6/11/2023
Beautiful area with Mountain View’s! Wouldn’t recommend for big rigs - we have a 41 ft fifth wheel Montana and it was to tight for us. We went to Owens Road Dispersed Camping instead and had plenty of space for our big rig. The hot springs are great for vans or small rigs, but wouldn’t recommend large rigs for this area.
