Park has no running water due to electric being out (2 weeks and counting) hence pump for well is out and that means no showers, running water or dump station. When we checked in, nothing was mention about this til we went to use water facilities (shower house) and saw a sign to get water at the park office. It is a nice campground and... more
Park has no running water due to electric being out (2 weeks and counting) hence pump for well is out and that means no showers, running water or dump station. When we checked in, nothing was mention about this til we went to use water facilities (shower house) and saw a sign to get water at the park office. It is a nice campground and if you go with the mindset of boondocking it is agreeable enough. Just be sure to come with a full tank of water, generator, empty tanks and a plan to dump elsewhere. No discount for the lack of amenities and an overall apathetic attitude about the situation from park staff. Would have stayed full length of reservation if we knew going in and were adequately prepared.

Overall Rating
Stayed 3 nights on site 58e (electric only). Site had picnic table and fire ring.
Short Walt to shower/bath house.
Deer walking through campsite several times.
We have an Aliner pop-up and a small dog.
Park staff was very nice.
Camp hosts were gone during our stay.

Overall Rating
Nice State Park campground with large, wooded campsites. Electrical available and T-Mobile cellular was okay (1 bar). Nice trails and plenty of wildlife.

Large site was able to easily back in a 25 foot trailer.
We actually saw a deer walking through our campsite.
Stayed during the week and it was quiet, not sure about weekends. There’s a lot of space between camp sites.
