We stopped here on our way home from Oregon not knowing what to expect as there were no reviews written. The campsite itself is nice, I think about 4-5 spots with picnic tables and fire pits in each. There’s a clean pit toilet. A bit of trash in our campsite which was sad (pack it out, people!!) but didn’t bother us too much. I also noticed bullet holes around some signs at the camp, so maybe it’s used as an unofficial shooting range? The scenery is beautiful, surrounded by trees and we were the only ones here. Enough sun in the morning to charge our solar panel. The road here was pretty steep and rough but our camper van did fine though I would not recommend for an RV as the turns are pretty sharp and there’s really no great spots here for RVs. Great spot for tents or camper vans. We also had full cell service which was unexpected!

So my son and I arrived at this place but first let me tell you it was a beautiful drive up, GPS was amazing at getting us there up until GPS said to park your vehicle and we had to walk the rest of the way😂😂😂 totally wasn’t happening.
However we did enjoy the views and we noticed on the way up there were bullet holes in the signs and shell casings everywhere on the ground from shotgun shells to 9MM casings.
We vacated that place fast as there are locals who live in these mountains.

No AT&T and a storm took out a ton of trees in the area. It’s a beautiful long drive and might be better once the debris is cleared.
