Overall Rating
We stayed here on 8/10/21. For being right next to the highway, it wasn’t as loud as I was anticipating. There were a few others at this location as well, but there was still plenty of room when we got there. Unfortunately the bathrooms were closed when we were there, but they did have porta-potties and a hand washing station nearby.

This rest area has mixed recycling bins available! It is pretty quiet on the car side. There is a great hiking spot just 6 miles north, though parking is limited for big rigs at the trailhead. Only way it could be better is if they added a dump station & water fill. Oh, and a dog poop bag dispenser. For the love of your fellow human, p... more
This rest area has mixed recycling bins available! It is pretty quiet on the car side. There is a great hiking spot just 6 miles north, though parking is limited for big rigs at the trailhead. Only way it could be better is if they added a dump station & water fill. Oh, and a dog poop bag dispenser. For the love of your fellow human, pick up your dogs sh!t if you're physically able.

I have actually stayed the night on several occasions and It is surprisingly quiet for being next to busy I-10.
The facilities are adequate. Restrooms are reasonably clean.
