Overall Rating

This place was great! Right away we felt good vibes about Whistlestop as we made a special request that was immediately granted before we even arrived! We stayed for a month from mid-October to mid-November and enjoyed our time here. Very easy to access off of the highway - if coming from the south, simply pull right into the front entrance at the main gate right on the highway. If coming from the north then just turn left at the stop light and enter through their back gate. Either way is no issue entering at all no matter the length of your rig. The check-in process was seamless, simply pull up to the front of the club-house. Huge benefits of staying in a new resort - everything was so clean and top-notch. The staff was attentive to every detail - the clubhouse, laundry, and bathroom/showers were spotless! The grounds were constantly being worked and there was no garbage anywhere in sight. Free Keurig coffee available everyday in the clubhouse. The gravel sites are very spacious with plenty of space around all sides of our RV and easy parking of our toad. The trees are still growing up so there isn't shade yet, so it's sunny and open. Our mail packages (Amazon, etc) were delivered directly to our site. Full hook-ups worked well. The water hook-up is in ground, but that is mandated by the county and not by the resort. The maintenance workers are happy to assist with your hook-ups if you need any help with connecting your water hose. The people were friendly and the resort was quiet. Lots of convenient shopping options right up the road in Prescott Valley. Would definitely stay again! We travel a lot, are nearly full-timers and were very pleased with this RV park. Loved how close Sedona and Prescott are. Lots to see and do in the area.

I drive by this one several days a week and although it is new and has some amenities, it is basically a parking lot with no trees.
