A “no thrills” kind of place, but Baker is quite a sleepy little town, so it fits in. Good place to park for a night or two while visiting Great Basin NP. Sites are spacious, utilities are laid out a little strangely but worked.

In three years of RVing, we have only left one campsite early, and it was here. Great Basin is hot and if you have a pet and need reliable electricity while you are visiting the park, do not stay here. At one post the voltage was extremely low and at the other, the spikes were so high (over 130 volts) that it was constantly tripping our surge protector.
There are three people who work here and while two were reasonable and apologetic, one guy was incredibly rude, aggressive, and on the verge of threatening. To top it off, the camp hosts also display not one but two “Beware of Dogs” signs on their cabin which is right next to all the RV spots and the small area you have to walk your own pet. I have never felt more uncomfortable or unsafe at an RV park before.
The only silver lining to this story is that we unexpectedly found ourselves leaving at 3pm and needing a place to stay the night. We found a lovely campsite in a little town a couple hours away in a town called Delta, Utah where you can dig for Trilobite fossils from the precambrian era and keep them. There are also nearby and legitimate gem mining areas and a Japanese internment camp museum. While we missed one of our bucket hikes in Great Basin, Delta fortunately turned out to be a serendipitous surprise that we wouldn’t have found otherwise.

We met up here with friends after spending the previous night at Upper Lehman. Their rig was too big for the park campgrounds and they wanted hookups. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The showers cost an additional $7 and the women’s showers were out of order. Ground was fairly level with gravel, dirt and weeds and it was hard keeping our dog out of the foxtails. It’s nothing fancy or spectacular, but it’s adequate and the closest RV park with hookups to Great Basin NP if you require those amenities.

Awesome little spot outside Great Basin National Park. Level spots, great laundry shower and bathrooms. Plenty of room in space. Awesome hosts. There are two rv parks in town and this is a thousand times the right choice.

It is a facility that is far from glamorous. The grounds are mostly dirt and weeds and the worst part about staying here was indeed the dust that got kicked up everywhere. The sites are kind of close together, and there's nothing like picnic tables or really any kind of amenities to beautify the place. It is quite humble. The bathhouse was pretty rustic, BUT, everything worked great. Nice hot showers, regular cleanings, plenty of paper products. No complaints. The electric we used was clean. Water pressure was good. Hook ups were convenient and close to each other.
Service was nice. We mostly interacted with Dakota and Sam; both were friendly and helpful. No issues there. And please note, the building where you stop to check in is ALSO A BAR! With a respectable tap selection of Nevada beers, a beer case full of interesting beers and some unusual bar selections too. We hung out there a little bit three days, just sit at a table and chat and have some drink service. I was so surprised to find a bar here!
Great Basin is way off the beaten path; I'm not sure my travels will ever take me this way again. But if we do come this way, and want to stay near the park (5 miles from Whispering Elms to Lehman Caves visitor center; less than a mile to the regular visitor center), I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Just drive slow to avoid kicking up dust.

The CG is a bit rustic, and could use some maintenance, but does have 50A service with FHUs. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s in a good location for visiting Great Basin NP and they do appear to be making some renovations, at least to the motel part. They also have 2 newly installed EV charging stations next to the motel.
AT&T coverage was good, with 4 bars of 5G and speeds up to 8 MB/s. We had access all 3 western DISH satellites and Starlink had speeds up to 11 MB/s.

Sites are kinda weird. You face your neighbors. We also had power issues. Restrooms were dirty with no paper.
Older park that needs some upkeep.
Right by the park which was a plus
