NOTE: The bridge coming into West Glacier says 13'6", so we aborted the turn and tried to find another way. When we called, we were told it was actually 14'. So we went very slow and in the middle and it was fine. There were big rigs in the park and they had also clearly come under the bridge. It's really the only way to get to the park.

We were fortunate to be assigned to Site 13, an end spot with an oversized beautiful green lawn. That said, most sites other than those facing the main entrance were not being watered and allowed to go brown and weedy. If we had been assigned one of these, we would’ve asked to be moved. Not sure if they have an irrigation problem or what, but others were clearly not happy. Otherwise, the campground was clean, bathhouses were well kept, and the sites were level. Nicest power/ water pedestals we’ve ever seen, and steady 120v power even with many rigs running AC in record heat. Not sure if three or four stars is right, but don’t expect a nice green site.

Paved driveways

Power pedestal at the front of the site, so a long run for electric. Also makes it almost impossible to park in front of the camper.
First impressions: Not worth the price. Even though you’re at Glacier National Park and spending time outdoors, for this price there should be some type of cable TV so you can watch a game or catch up on the news, plus level asphalt pads to park on.

We have been in much better RV resorts for this price. In fact this is more campground than a resort. The only amenities they have is the laundry, a playground and a WiFi connection, which works pretty well
I wish they have a share covered area. I think it is fair to ask for it when you pay this price. My husband works on the road but on a rainy and cold day when the kids where inside the RV, it is hard to work outside. Also a share fire pit would be nice
I have seen people working from the laundry as the only option available.
Our site wasn’t leveled and all the trees were new so no shaDow on sunny days. Also the trash bin was sometimes too full. It may be necessary to empty it more often
I repeat. I love the park and I would stay there again but I would want more things for this price.
Oh and the staff is amazing. We had two reservations because of a change of plans and they accommodated us so we didn’t have to change sites

The insanity for us was the price we paid since we booked only a few days prior. $135 a night plus taxes which brought it to about $148. A camper at another site in Idaho had raved about the park being the best he had ever been at...ummm no, not even close in my opinion.
It is a nice RV Park though and if you don't want to drive far to get into the park, AND you make reservations much further in advance, then it may be worth it. Give it ten years for some of the trees to mature to provide some shade and privacy and it may be very nice

We stayed here from late July through early August 2021. This park is pricy, but it is very close to the entrance to Glacier National Park. The sites are gravel and are pretty level. The bathrooms all have showers in them and are included if you need them. This RV park is very clean. Also this park has the fastest WiFi internet that I have ever seen at an RV park. The Verizon cell service is kind of slow, but you can make phone calls and text. West Glacier is a short walk from the RV park, which has anything you may need. Over all this is the nicest RV park I have ever stayed at, and will definitely stay again in the future.

I just came from KOA east glacier (see my review if interested) and although there are many comparisons, such as outstanding location and access, there is no comparison with facility, which is far superior. It makes me long for new campgrounds to go with the spike in RV sales, and I hope they use this place as a model.
It is very busy, but site distance is acceptable and there are picnic tables for each site. Very few trees.
No fires, but they have rings.

The sites themselves are not shaded but they will be when the trees mature. The campground was only a year and a half old when we camped here. You are very close to West Glacier village where there is a rafting and fishing company, bar and restaurant, gift shop, gas, and small grocery store. There is a paved path to ride your bike or walk to the village. The views are beautiful and the campground is located right outside of Glacier National Park. Staff was amazing - friendly and accommodating. We were able to get into our site early with no problem. Very clean - great laundry room, as well. No negatives at all - can't wait to come back!

Roku stick didn’t work at all with wifi. IPad worked🤔
There is train noise and some highway noise but livable.
Great location. Walk to tubing and town. Gas prices super high in WG.
Columbia had best prices and food.
This park is definitely better than KOA in St. Mary
The West Glacier KOA is very nice and has a pool. More pricey.
