Large sites very convenient right off the highway. We have a 43ft. fifth wheel. Level sites, we stayed hooked up. Perfect one night stay.

Office woman was very friendly and helpful. Walked us to our site and made sure we had enough room for our slide out. Nicely shaded gravel sites that are pretty level. Weather was beautiful with a gentle breeze. Did not need the AC or the heater. Would stay there again when in the area.

Friendly and attentive staff. Very well cared for rv park. Their maintenance pays attention to detail. Everything was spotless clean and worked. Easy freeway access.

Very nice campground just off interstate I-90 in Welcome Minnesota
Long pull-through sites in addition to back-in.
Close to the interstate but noise is not an issue.
Passport America card discount.
Helpful staff.
Quiet.

We were hoping to drive further but needed to stop for the night. The host was very helpful and pleasant. I called to make sure there was space for our rig (38’ travel trailer w/ 2 slides). There were a few and the one we used was a nice pull-thru. There is water, sewer, 50 amp service at the sites. Laundry on site, showers, bathrooms... more
We were hoping to drive further but needed to stop for the night. The host was very helpful and pleasant. I called to make sure there was space for our rig (38’ travel trailer w/ 2 slides). There were a few and the one we used was a nice pull-thru.
There is water, sewer, 50 amp service at the sites. Laundry on site, showers, bathrooms were nice and clean. Quiet area off of i90. The highway noise was minimal.
I would definitely stay again.

Checkers Welcome Campground offers affordable RV camping and is Passport America affiliated. Checkers Welcome Campground is located just off I-90 in Welcome, Minnesota. Welcome Campground spacious, affordable pull through campsites with 50/30 amp full hookups. We paid $22 for a one night stay using our lifetime Passport America Membership. The grounds and facilities are well kept and many of the campsites have shade. Free WiFi is available with a passcode. Value like this makes Checkers Welcome Campground an affordable RV camping option for Passport America Members. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 32.2 Mbps download speed and 0.40 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 26.3 Mbps download speed and 1.14 Mbps upload speed. We stayed here overnight on the way home during a long trip. The folks were super friendly, and the campground nice and clean. Our site was pretty level, hookups were placed well for our trailer. Echoing other reviewers, this campground was perfect for a quick one night pitstop on our westbound journey towards Badlands National Park. Conveniently just far enough off I-90 that it is surprisingly & pleasantly quiet, we had a pull through site (lucky #13) with FHU. Reliable wi-fi connection. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained, even if showing age.
Called ahead of time same day to make reservation. Be aware that they normally close the office at 8pm, but happily the staff accommodated our slightly tardy arrival (thank you!!!). Good place to have on one's radar if travelling the I-90 corridor in either direction. Would have liked to stay longer.

Just needed a break from driving, was easy off and on from Interstate 90. Quiet, clean and friendly staff. Little more than I would have liked to pay but then not unreasonable for most folks.
