There is a really nice park close by that offers free spring water for bottle fills. If you wish to get larger fills, you can find a pump behind the high school which is free of charge. The water at the campground was very fresh and as a water snob, this was very much appreciated. I suspect that they may be tapping into the same spring, but I don’t know that for sure. We have a large rig and were able to easily get in and out and get set up. The nearby grocery store, Bee’s, was quaint and we were able to find everything we needed there. We will definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity arises.

The hook ups were seemingly brand new and to be able to get water and sewer was incredibly useful. There is a nearby park that is amazing and offers spring water by the bottle. There is also spring water available for larger fills behind the high school. The water at the campground was just as fresh (I am a water snob..lol) and I wonder if they use the same spring water?? Will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

It has plenty of gravel so you don’t battle the red dirt which is so prevalent in southern Utah. The electric and water services are in great and like new conditions. Every site has a sewer hookup. The view of the red rock cliff was an added bonus. It’s close to the highway but the noise level wasn’t too bad at all. The cell phone tower visible at each campsite was so close it resulted in four bars of LTE.

For a one night stay and be on your way, the place is not bad. Just get a site on one of the interior sections, not on the edge. It won't help much, but it will be better to some degree!
Evidently, it is legal for off road vehicles (see above for list), to ride around and around and around and around -- and around, from sunrise to after sunset. It seems everyone under 30 rides some vehicle from the list above, around and around and around and around. Wheelies are quite common, as there is a slight incline on the road next to the park which is conducive to wheelie training.....
The town is strange. Lot's of "compounds", lots of unfinished houses. Most people I interacted with were friendly.
No shower, no office, no laundry. (There is an excellent laundry in town, however.)
Pick a time! Not the parks fault, but across the street in UT is a different time zone. Iphones seemed confused which time to pick.
The goods:
The site is relatively close to Zion and Hurricane and some other parks. You can see that on a map.
The park is brand new, so outstanding electric, water and sewer. Also, wifi is unbelievable. Best ever.
The park is clean. Paved roads, lights at each site on timers.
The town has one of the best grocery stores I have ever been to!
There is a microbrewery in town that had excellent beer.
The views from the park are excellent (if you can ignore the industrial park setting).
There are lots of trails nearby if you like to hike or bike. Town is not super friendly to biking, but the roads are wide. Every now and then someone will give you a blast of diesel / turbo just cause....

Tried to boondock at Hurricane Cliffs, but it was so packed we couldn’t find a spot. Luckily, we found this RV park in Colorado City for only $45 a night, which is WAY cheaper than any other RV park near Zion. We require strong internet for work and there is a cell tower next door to the park so internet was strong on ATT and Verizon. There’s no office yet, no bathrooms or laundry because it’s so new and it is literally a gravel rv park with water, sewer, and electric at each spot. There’s plenty of room between sites and while we were there for a week we had no neighbors. Very clean park and a nice view of the mountains.

I forgot to mention, the "pads" are not concrete. They are gravel, all of them. Also, there are no picnic tables!
