There is some traffic noise and we heard a train several times throughout the night but otherwise fairly quiet to be right off I20. We woke up to another camper and van beside us but we never heard them arrive. If you park in the truck parking, that area is right next to the freeway and would probably be much louder. If your rig is smaller, go for the spots in the auto section.

This is a great overnighter, our 2nd stay. We have a 41 foot fifth wheel. As all the reviews mention follow signs for autos, there is a place for RVs, there was a camper in a Class C parked in the center, which was goofy, we made it work, we hung over 1 car parking spot, thats where I put my car.

This was a very nice place to stop for the night. It was clean and well lighted. The bathrooms were very clean and warm. The other reviews were correct - go to the right with the cars in order to park your camper. We will definitely stay here again!

Keep right and follow the signs for car parking to reach the RV parking. Parking on the curve has room for 2 large RVs - but be mindful of the tree as you pull forward. We were very happy with this overnight space. As others have said, stay to the right where auto park, on right site is space for 2 RVs. We travel with a 28 foot trailer. There is hwy noise, but didn't bother us, we had good nite of sleep after 17 hours on the road.

Thank you to the previous reviewers - definitely keep to the right and head into the "cars" parking area if you are staying for a rest or overnight. (If you just need a quick stop, keep left with the big trucks for easy pull-thru lanes.) At the end of the oval parking loop are signs for RV parking. Our big 5th wheel fit along the curve, out of the way with room for another large rig. There are also 4 angled pull-in spots, no wider than a standard parking spot but about 30 feet long, which tuck you a bit more out of the traffic loop. You can see this well on satellite map views.
Typical freeway noise, but quiet in the rest stop itself.
Bathrooms in the building were closed (Sept 2020).
A few low branches on the exit. They are bendy but tall rigs be advised.
There is a small privately-run restaurant/store next to the TX travel center with coffee, sandwiches and ice. It is walkable from the parking lot.
