They have a dump station on site with non-potable water for rinsing the tank and just a bit further in the dump area is a spigot for potable water. We were able to use our solar panels to provide plenty of power for our stay there, but generators are also allowed between daytime hours.
Our neighbors were locals and very friendly. In the evening, the area behind our campsite was filled with fireflies.
Turtle Cove is a swimming pool / water park within the metropark, for an extra fee.
We had a good Starlink signal at 90 down and 18 up. Verizon was at 2 bars on the phone and 4 bars with our cell antenna. AT&T came in at 3 bars on with cell antenna.

Quiet area other than some airport noise at different times of day. Well, monitored by park staff. Saturday night CG fairly full but Sunday night only 6 sites of 27 were occupied. New children’s play area down the road and smaller play area in campground. Nice well maintained CG.

Here midweek early October with just one other camper. Can’t beat the price for the beauty and clean bathrooms. Because there was construction at the entrance no fee was collected for entry but I do believe if you are a registered camper there may be no fee. The only down side was the lack of cell coverage. The only down side was the lack of cell coverage. Don’t get it when you are right close to the cities and airport. 2 bars 4G if we were lucky.

Stayed here the last weekend of October. The campground was quiet probably due to being the end of the season. There were no other campers the first night (Thursday) and one camper came in late Friday after we went to bed. We were a group of two adults and 5 kids. There are no hook ups, but there are small bathrooms that they maintain and keep very clean. We stayed In a 31 foot airstream trailer and it fit fine on the site. The small playground near the campsite was perfect for our family. We had great cell phone service with Verizon and would definitely stay here again. It is about 25 minutes from the Henry Ford Museum.
