Parking is small and crowded so we parked near Sam’s Club. Lots of local car traffic.

So I was planning to visit the Walmart parking lot for the night but as I will driving up the ramp I noticed a mall right off the exit with a few stores that had closed and a huge parking lot not being used. So I was planning to visit the Walmart parking lot for the night but as I will driving up the ramp I noticed a mall right off the exit with a few stores that had closed and a huge parking lot not being used. So I changed corse and went to the mall parking lot for the night. Fairly level lot and a few restaurants such as fazolis, Panda Express and Applebee’s within walking distance. A little noisy early on but overall a nice spot.

We didn’t call and ask to stay considering multiple other reviews said it was okay to do so. Would not stay again. In kind of a weird area and parking lot is not as big as some other Walmarts. We were the only rv there so felt a little vulnerable and out of place. I would skip this one unless you really need a place to crash.

You can stay in the parking lot, closest to Louise Ave in front of Walmart or Sam’s club.
Felt safe, had a little grass to walk to walk the dogs.

stayed a night on our way to Rapid City, very quiet. the store closed at 8:30 and the parking lot way empty by 10:00. we have an E-Pro 19' , and two other rigs with us. felt good to get a good night sleep

“No Longer Allowed”

We called the store and were told that a city ordinance is in place that no longer allows overnight camping in town. Not sure if that’s true but I wouldn’t try to stop here for the night.
