This Walmart in Page is located just a couple miles from the crazy busy Horseshoe Bend and a couple miles from the dam and Lake Powell. So it's busy around the clock. The store closes at midnight but campers, boaters and campers are coming and going. We had a couple large trucks park right next to us with their engine running for a good portion of the night. It turned into white noise after a while, but just know that this isn't a quiet Walmart where you will have the back corner to yourself. In fact, if you don't arrive early enough in the day you might not have a place to park, especially if you have a bigger rig like ours.

It’s a Walmart parking lot, but a lovely Walmart parking lot. Tons of RVs and vans. People had tables and lawn chairs out, and were cooking meals and having their morning coffees. All in all a better than average Walmart to sleep at.

Since the shuttle (I heard it was $5 round trip per person) was over a mile away, we just walked the 2.5 miles there and then back. We are a family of 5 with teenagers and we all made the best of it —- there aren’t sidewalks and it was March and in the 70s and sunny — but lots of water and silly conversation — it was worth the effort to see the lookout from Horseshoe Bend!! We walked to Sonic after for dinner and it was an efficient place to park the RV for the night. Good chance to replenish supplies.

As soon as I stopped the coach, an inebriated guy who appeared to be a native american approached the driver's side of the coach. I opened my window and he immediately began to ask me for money. He was hungry. I put him off.
I went inside and asked the manager if it was OK for me to park. She said yes, just don't block aisle ways or exits of the lot. I returned to my coach and before I got there I was accosted again by the same guy and now he had a friend. After a short conversation I gave him a few dollars and directed him to share with his buddy. He may have because he didn't ask for more.
As I was making dinner, another panhandler similar to the first one knocked on the coach door. I slid a side window open and he made the same plea. I discouraged him and he went away disgusted, I guess at my lack of generosity. I am going to lock the entire exterior of the coach for sure.
Verizon has 4G with 4 bars but is very slow when converted to WiFi.

What else can I say, it's a Walmart parking lot – but it's a pretty good Walmart parking lot. We were traveling through Page planning to see Antelope Canyon. We tried the Page-Lake Powell Campground but they were full and we weren't going to pay $48 for a quick night at the Wahweap Campground and RV Park. We arrived early in Page and manged to get a mid-afternoon tour of Antelope Canyon so we just needed a place to park for the night.
This Walmart is part of a newer development on Highway 89 on the edge of Page. There is ample parking, Walmart staff requested we park at the far side however this was occupied by several RV's. Various RV's were parked along the front of the lot beside the access road and out of the way of customers which is where we stayed. The lot has a mild slope; we needed a couple of blocks to level the trailer but otherwise, it was fine. Security appeared fine, there was good lighting in the lot overnight and minimal noise. As a bonus, there is a McDonald's across the street with good Wi-Fi and a Shell gas station at the traffic circle/intersection. This gas station has excellent access for any size rig and adjacent to it is a self serve car/truck/RV wash and dump station if needed. There were over 20 RV's plus a few trucks parked overnight. Yes, we did buy some supplies at Walmart.
