We arrived early in the evening on a Friday, and it was quite noisy with kids trying to be cool riding around in vehicles with loud mufflers, electric bikes, etc. Otherwise, it felt safe. Tons of places to eat within walking distance.

Overall Rating
We parked here with a small travel trailer. The store does close at night. It was quiet, except for the parking lot cleaning machine, which hummed along. There is a nearby Panda Express, Applebee's, Starbucks. Lots of van's, trailers, busses parked for the night. Took off in the morning to respect the business.

We got int Cedar City a little late and planned to stay at Wal-mart. The area near appplebees was packed…go figure for Late October. We got int Cedar City a little late and planned to stay at Wal-mart. The area near appplebees was packed…go figure for Late October. As we drove by we noticed several campers and vans parked at the top of the lot next door in a place called Deseret Industries.
A very large parking lot with lighting. A class A, a travel trailer, our fifth wheel, two camper vans and several cars parked near the top or back of the lot. Plenty of room between us and lots of the room left in the lot. It was noisy out on the main road until about mid-night. Then nothing until we left at eight am. No problems at all.

Called to confirm they still allowed overnights. Manager stated a single night is allowed, to park by the Applebees and we must leave by 6am the next morning. Stayed overnight with zero issues except it snowed in the morning.

Pulled in and all seemed fine. My husband took the dog out and there was a lady knocking on doors telling people no overnights. She never came to our trailer but we didn’t stick around waiting for a knock.

Ok, so this is my first Walmart overnight, might be my last. Other reviews said it was quiet but I did not experience that. Lot's of trash about the outer lot where I was parked as well. I purchased $58 in food and supplies and should have left..
