The website says $30 but the last few reviews says 15. Can someone confirm?
Nick asked on 8/7/2020
On the reservation website, they limit RV size to 35' - Can a 42' RV fit, and will they allow it if you show up?

This was our first COE stay. It will most definitely NOT be our last. Especially at that price(with the senior NP pass)!

Not as quiet as nearby (40 mi) Ortona Lock & Dam Corps facility, but closer to more varied attractions. Clean and well-kept. About 30 over-the-air tv stations. Enjoyed it here.

Each spot is waterfront. Little close to neighbors, but there’s a little foliage to give privacy. Great bath house!!

W P Franklin is a small US Army Corps of Engineers campground on the Caloosahatchee River. It's hard to get a reservation here during the winter but spring provided some opportunity. Site 21, a pull through site, provided enough room for our long-bed truck and 33 ft 5th wheel trailer. It was a little tight on the turn to get into the site but it worked fine for us once we were in. The site is mostly shaded with a view of the water across the loop road. Many of the sites along the water are pretty short so best suited for smaller rigs. The campground is well maintained and offers recycling and garbage collection in a central site. The dump station, just inside the gate, with double-sided access which can be an obstruction to entry if someone is using it upon arrival. We didn’t check the restrooms as we use our own facilities. There are several sites for watching wildlife along the river where we were able to see alligators in the river and many types of birds. Entertaining to watch the huge boats passing through the lock. We paid $20/night after applying the NPS Lifetime Senior Pass discount. We highly recommend W P Franklin campground. Plan early to get a reservation!

Great clean and well kept facility. Would definitely repeat but probably not in summer - needs a swimming area. Great big & level sites.
Cell coverage for Cricket and Visible great
Could not view actual ‘lock system’ closed to public. ( blaming COVID)

Also like our other ACE experiences, not a whole lot to do within the park but relax and enjoy the water views, which is just fine by me. There is a decent mountain biking area nearby. Best dog walking area to not impose on your neighbors is out the only access road to he park to the main road. This is one of the few places out two car wouldn’t fit at our site, but parking available just across the camp road so no worries. Covered picnic table, amazing sunsets. Great way to start 2021.
