This place has some really cool trails. Unable to stay in the staged area but anything outside the fence is fair game. Washboard road coming in but nothing too crazy. Portapotties in staged area, with some maps for the area. Very little traffic coming in and out, but I was also there during the week.

This place worked fine for our Plan B. There was already someone occupying the area outside the fenced staging area. Camping is not allowed inside the fenced area.
We continued down the road and found a somewhat level area on the left just beyond the staging area. However the entire area was full of large thorns and stickers.
We continued down the road, less than a mile from the staging area and found another somewhat flat area at the intersection of the main road and a road marked 25. We explored further and found no other suitable area. So this is where we camped, at the intersection of main road and road 25.
All roads in this area were marked and indicated difficulty level for OHVs.
It’s a bit off the highway and then down a pretty good gravel road to the OHV staging area with some wash boarding. Perhaps we would have enjoyed the area more had we explored with the Razor.

We parked in a dirt lot. Nothing more than that. Happy to have a free place to park and sleep overnight along our journey.
It got really windy at night, but temps were refreshing and comfortable.
Stayed here Tuesday, 9/24/19.

We stopped here so we could go to the Oregon Trail Interpretative Center the next morning. The campsite is 3 miles from the entrance of the center. It's an OHV area so on the weekends may be very busy and noisy, but on a Tuesday night was quiet. We camped on the unfenced area on the right which looks like dirt on Google maps but has a fresh layer of gravel on it. The road in was a very good dirt road. You could see the paved road but it wasn't noisy. The valley you see from where we camped I think was part of the Oregon Trail. There is a porta potty in the fenced area. Verizon data and voice was spotty at best. Every time I got a signal and tried to do anything it would drop.
