Access: Single lane paved road to rocky dirt road. Would be tight to pass another trailer coming in on the paved road, but maybe doable. It’s very close to the freeway so unlikely you’d have to try it. Big rocks on the dirt road, so it was a little bumpy, but you don’t have to go far before it smooths out. Easily accessible for big rigs (my partner’s parents who were with us have a 38’ 5th toy hauler), but I have a photo loaded where you can see a big pile of boulders. Past these boulders it would get a bit tricky for a larger rig, however I did see a fifth wheel back there and another one went in while we were there. Probably locals who go there all the time and know the area. Would recommend scouting if you want to go further back into the trees.
Sites: You can park anywhere on either side of the dirt road. There are some small rock circle fire pits. Very clean.
Area: Very pretty and you can smell the trees when you come in. People had toys out there, but very nice going slow next to campers and only passed us a couple times in the late afternoon and must have put them away after that. Big hills on either side on the spots that you could hike up, and also made it easy to keep track of our doggie, who we could let off lead because we could see her everywhere. Some cow patties, and at the dirt turn off there’s a pen where we saw a herd of horses in the morning when we went down to get service.
Coverage: We had no service in our spot next to the boulders. Sometimes would get 2 bars 1x, so we might have been alright with a range extender. The very first spot on the left has 2 bar 3G at least (there was already a camper in this spot though), and on the paved road is LTE, so if you needed you could go down to the road to do work, very close.
4 stars only because of the coverage, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Easy access to get to Canyon. Road a little bumpy back to camp site. 3 different areas to camp.
UTV and motorbikes aplenty. However very respectful of other campers.
Beautiful!!!

The first 2 areas could handle about any motorhome. The third area had very rutted roads. I did see 2 smaller TT's There. Clean quit. Locals have some campers set up for the weekend. I had no problem finding a spot early in the week. If you have toys you will enjoy. Limited coverage after first area.
