Everything was nice. The bathrooms were clean, laundry great. There some older RVs with awnings who have seen better days but it was overall good.
Unless you are going to be at the campground during the day. The F35s are cool for a minute but then it’s all day. The latest was 7:30 pm.

Ok guys. Maybe it’s just me, but when I see a freshly-poured concrete slab in a fancy new campground, I assume it’s level… right? Not 6 inches off. Ok guys. Maybe it’s just me, but when I see a freshly-poured concrete slab in a fancy new campground, I assume it’s level… right? Not 6 inches off. I kid you not, we were sent to two different sites and the BEST we could do was a 6” slope. So this otherwise five-star campground took a score deficit from the start for this factor alone. I’ve posted some pictures of others & their means of dealing with the leveling challenges in this park. Not inconsequential.
Second factor: NOISE. Supersonic aircraft doing ear-splitting maneuvers at 9:30pm (and most of one day). This is not your run-of-the-mill highway or railroad noise. This is F-22s over your head with afterburners roaring NOISE. Strike two. This happened on 1 of 3 days we were here.
But despite these 2 strikes against it, Valley View has a spectacular pool, hot tub, recreation center, community fire feature, playground, showers, laundry, dog run, dog agility course (yes!) and it’s right next door to a U-Pick flower farm.
So you chose the good with the bad🤨. We’ll pass next time.

There is noise from the airforce base with planes flying over usually early in the day, but it didn’t bother us or our dogs at all.

We stayed two nights on our “shakedown” trip after picking up our new trailer. Long pull thru site, the concrete pad was nearly level front to back and side to side. Lots of children playing during the day because of spring break. We would stay here again.

So many lovely little touches, from the doggie treat and Werther’s Originals in a welcome pack to hosing down the sites when the previous visitors leave, having food trucks visit at dinnertime some nights, and providing a washing machine dedicated just to washing pet beds. There is a “resort” feeling to the campground, and we loved waking up to a mountain view.
Laundry room and restrooms were immaculate, two great pickleball courts, and the campground was quiet at night.
There IS significant fighter-jet noise from the nearby Air Force Base. We enjoyed watching the jets do their maneuvers, but weekday mornings are definitely LOUD as they pass by. Some might be bothered by it, but we grew to look forward to watching them.
Front office staff were exceptional about working around our issue when our auto-level refused to let the jacks down, saying the angle of the site was too steep (most sites do have a real tilt to them). We would stay again, but would request site 121 (ideal!), or one of the lower-level back-in sites.
Starlink worked without a hitch.
We were genuinely sorry to leave.
