Arrived to clean site. Nicely maintained spots for campers. Clean facilities and grounds. The beach is fantastic for kids and adults. Dog beach is lovely and tons of walking trails.
I wish campers would have better camping etiquette and care about other campers.

Since there is only one entry for both campers and day users, there can be a line up at the entrance to get it. Registration/entry is very simple so the line moves quickly. Our site on the Ironwood Loop (water/electric) was a back in and quite large. There were trees & bushes all around the site, 2 picnic tables and a fire ring. The only negative was that the site narrowed right where our door was so it was pretty tight going in and out - in a shorter RV it would have been perfect. We had our own power post but some we saw that shared and had a bit of a distance (the website will indicate how far away it is).
Its a bit of a distance from the campground to the beach (somewhere between 1/2 and 1 km) but there is a nice trail along the lake or there is ample parking at the beach. The beach was nicely maintained and the water was pretty shallow. It was a bit mucky at the shore but was sandy gravel after a couple of feet. They have 10km of hiking trails including one with a boardwalk and a bridge for fishing (pike - catch & release). There were 2 snack bars in the park - campground and beach - but we didn’t use them. The restroom at the beach was pretty busy so wasn’t as clean as it could be - definitely wear your shoes. We used some toilets near our campground which were fine. The showers were closed this season.
The campground is alcohol free.
There is no Wi-Fi but we did have good Rogers service.
Kandt would stay here again
