Perfect little place right off of I-90. FHU sites, neat little town. Bathrooms very clean, sites are decent. Some freeway noise & occasional train noise, didn't bother us. They have wifi too.

We stayed in site 1. Water and a shared electric pedestal at 8 paved pads. Right across the road from the 400 trail with easy access to the Elroy-Sparta and Omaha trails. A nice paved walking trail through the park and we were treated to two little league baseball games one night. The field is adjacent to the camping area. Well maintained...

Arrived around 5pm in late May 2024. Picked a spot. Set up. Watched the full moon rise in the east and simultaneously watched the sun set in the west. Quiet and free and close to Great Sand Dunes National Park.
