I stayed for about eight months on a work related trip. If you are looking for a glamorous resort, this is not it. if you want something quiet and secluded with easy access to mail and packages for a decent price, then this is it!
We stayed Thursday and Friday night of Memorial Day week end and there were still open spaces. Not terribly close but also not very private. Great views and nice host. The road goes thru private property with signs that try to scare you, but keep going. Use road manners and take it slow, follow rules and don’t stop.
First camping area ok for sedans but as you continue up the trail the road becomes more for SUV’s or lifted vehicles. Multiple camping spots along trail with rock fire pits probably from hunters....
Ummm, can we talk about how great Canada’s push button showers are again?! The bathhouse is great—hot water, great water pressure and 20-30 seconds of water per push. The USA needs to take notes.
