"Stay here for the park, not the campsite"

We stayed here May 31st, and were lucky to get a site when we arrived in the afternoon. Sites are 'funky', squeezed in every which way, with some being somewhat unlevel. Having said all that, the campground is clean with nice bathrooms; no showers. Water is available but there are no hookups. Larger rigs may have difficulty finding a site. The...

We generally prefer state/national parks or forest campgrounds. Stayed her for laundry and baths with showers. The spots are close together, but level. Hosts are VERY NICE and welcoming. He gave us a lot of information regarding local sights to see, hikes and restaurants. The laundromat was clean. Bathrooms and showers are among the best we have...

"Quiet campground in the woods."

Nice national forest campground, road to campground is gravel with few potholes, but campground has asphalt roads and sites. Sites all appear fairly level. The vault toilets were very clean. If you like camping in the m mountain forests, this is for you.

This is our type of camping. What you lack in amenities (only has vault toilets) is made up by location in the trees with loud creek behind the campsite. Most sites are unlevel, some worse than others. We enjoyed sitting by the creek in the afternoon. We did the Lehman Cave tour, and a stargazing party at night. Great night skies. We camped in a...

"Basic, good campground"

We stayed here in late May, so having electric for the a/c was great. Beautiful location among the red rocks, saw Big Horn Sheep trot thru the campground. Bathrooms were ok, showers were just ok, but serviceable. We planed to stay 2 nights but many hiking trails had been closed so we left a day early.
