Amazingly clean and peaceful campground about ten minutes from downtown Mount Airy and all things Andy Griffith! We stayed here on 5/28/24 with no issues. We drove by security and parked our vehicle in the back of the outlets by the highway (it says RV parking on the ground). We weren’t sure if we were supposed to check in, but security never knocked and he drove by patrolling the area at least til midnight.

We really enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Loop site 137 which had full hookups, some shade from trees but still had an area with no trees that we could put our Starlink out with no obstructions.
