When it gets dark, it is nice and reasonably cool. Quiet. Woke up to lot full of vehicles with hikers.

One of the most gorgeous and peaceful places to stay while driving across country. Parked by the water next to a small tree. Went swimming anytime I wanted. Nice hot showers!
