We did put our boat in on the smaller lake, which doesn't allow motors. There's a pair of loons and some beavers on the far side. We heard owls every night.
We didn't check the vault toilets.
There's a little bit of LTE. You could probably get better depending on your location and if you had a booster. It's very dense tree cover so not much solar or StarLink.

Others have already said how great the campground is I just want to add that I live 500 miles away and I’ll be back. Love the sound of the loons.

Very nice campground with a great family feel to it. Stayed only a single night but wish I had booked at least 2. Sites were spacious and level and fairly private with room between site plus heavy foliage to give privacy. A little buggy, and likely raccoons in the woods at night. Cell phone coverage was good outside but spotty inside the trailer. Talked to another camper who has been camping here each year for 30 years and I would do the same if I lived closer.
Clean dump station at the entrance ($10 fee for campers, $25 for non-campers). Water at the spigots was pumped - each push of the button gave about 3 gallons.

The majority of the sites are first-come-first-serve, so get there EARLY for a summer weekend. We arrived on Tuesday night and that worked well for us. The reservable sites go quickly, they are interspersed throughout the campground, and they tend to be the 'best views.'
Campendium says 'one bar' for Verizon which we found to be true. However, Site 7 seemed to be more in the 1.5 bar range (we are still 'working from camper' so bars matter to us).
Outhouses are super clean and the hosts very helpful.
Downside? Wow, $10 dump fee even if you are camping there. Also the canoe and kayak rental fees are extremely high ($20+ for half a day).
Access? If you are driving in after dark, go the longer route (through Drummond). The Google maps shortcut through Cable is beautiful, but difficult after dark.

Great family campsite for swimming, fishing, boating or riding your bike around camp. There are over 90 large sites to choose from and most are with lake access or view. Dump station available. Staff hosts are friendly and care for the place well and do a decent job of protecting the property. Only complaint is the iron content at the water pumps is unpleasant.

We stayed in Hayward last night, just urban Boondocked, then got here bright and early Friday. I’d recommend maybe getting here just after noon or getting a safety spot then watching for who leaves and making a move. Either way there where plenty of sites for a last minute weekend without reservations.
So far generator noise has been minimal, I fear we might be the ones to break silence. While we have 2600 watts of solar, the shaded sites mean we’re only getting 200.
I can see us visiting again in the fall as the colors develop.

All valted bathrooms appear to be extremely clean. There is a dump station, and drinking water available. There are paddle boats and canoes available for rental. There are also two swimming beaches, and to boat landings one on Lake Owen and one on Bass Lake. The price is $21 a night unless you have the Senior America pass then it is half-price. Some sites you can reserve on recreation.gov the rest are first come first serve. Overall our stay was very peaceful and quiet.
P. S. Mosquitoes come without question, and of course free of charge. LOL

This was a beautiful NF campground between gorgeous Lake Owen and serene Bass Lake. Probably half of the 90 some sites are on shoreline. No hook ups at all. Clean vault toilets. Sites were very large and very private. We drove thru 4-5 other NF campgrounds in the area and Two Lake was by far the nicest!

We stayed here for the opening weekend of fishing season. We were the only ones in the loop we were in. The campground was spread out with much space between sites many of which were next to the lake. Our camp site even had its own spot to tie the boat up. Our site was also very large and had no problems at all fitting the two trucks, camper and boat trailer. The weather was nice for this time of year although the water was still cold which seemed to effect the fishing.
We stayed here a second time in July. Our site this time was 11a, which is a huge site and is secluded. We could walk down to the water right from our site. The only draw back of this site is that it was close to one of the boat landings to there was some noise.
The campground is between two lakes Owen and Bass. Owen is large and can have motors the Bass is small which you can not have a wake. Both have boat landings. They rent canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.
If you stay here one must is to go to the Delta Dinner, which is in Delta about a 15 minute drive north of the campground. The food is outstanding.
