Stayed here to visit family for thanksgiving. Nice clean park on the lake. Water and power at our site #20 as well as some plenty of shade. Didn’t really enjoy all the amenities but would love to come back in the summer. Camp hosts were great too!

It is sort of on the flight path to DFW airport, so you get the occasional plane. Peaceful during the winter, I’m guessing it’s busy in the summer. The access road is sort of twisty and up and down, don’t let it fool you. The landing spot is well worth it.

Absolute stunning site! Most sites overlooking Grapevine Lake but all have new full hookups. Close to city amenities but country quiet. Our new ‘Go To’ stayplace.

We spent 4 nights here at Thanksgiving while visiting family. We had reserved 3 nights and been wait listed for Thanksgiving Day. We were able to stay that 4th night moving sites. The park is immaculate. The roads and sites were paved and in good condition. The services at the site were well placed. All sites had full hookups and the water pressure was good. We were in Site 12. This site shared a driveway with the neighboring site, but was easy to back into. It overlooked the cove. Each site had a fire pit, a picnic table, a BBQ, and a lantern hook. Although the sites were closely spaced in places, your area seemed private. There was a camp store which had firewood and kayak and paddle board rentals. We moved to Site 7, again a back in. This was a difficult site to back in with a 30’ travel trailer. It was difficult to make the turn on the truck side with a large culvert/ditch across from the site and required backing in at and sharp angle and then straightening once in. Both sites were east to level. We did not access any of the outdoor activities given the time of year.

Tips - If you can avoid approaching from the northbound I-35W, you will have a better time of it due to heavy duty construction and significant lane closures/delays. Get fuel outside Flower Mound. Site #19 was a challenge to locate, no map provided with online receipt and information. Sites 1 - 18 are lakeside down below the cabins; sites 19 - 22 are above the cabins by the camp store.
Favorites - Location, location, location. Grapevine Lake is a beautiful lake with super easy access for fishing, swimming, and other aquatic adventures. Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes for rent in the RV area. Super clean park with gated access.
Negatives - Site #19 was a challenge to back-in a 45' 5ver. Not really a negative but, be aware of the oak trees when positioning your rig if you're a multi-slide.

We really enjoyed our week stay at Twin Coves. The park is extremely clean and well maintained. Great lakeside view. We were able to launch our kayaks very close to our site. Great hiking trails.

This is the best RV campground we have ever stayed at. The park is beautiful, well laid out and spotless. The only thing that could be improved is the distance to the showers/rest rooms. Very quiet and peaceful; I believe all RV spots have a lake view. Highly recommend!

We spent a week here - it was a great location close to our family who lives in Argyle. We had a blast swimming and fishing with our granddaughters and rented a pontoon boat from the marina, too. Lots of hiking trails! Park is super clean! Even though we were there for 4th of July weekend, it was still quiet. There are plenty of large spots(cement, flat) available on the water but we opted for a shady spot. I highly recommend spot number 19 which is in the shade but has nice views of the water. Internet was slow - don't bother paying for the upgraded version, we canceled it after a day or two. We will definitely return to this park!

Nice flat cemented sites with metal picnic tables. Built in fire pits but we used our propane firepit since they were having a moderate drought. Very quiet and peaceful. We stayed during the week. Lovely spot on the lake. Would definitely plan to stay here again. We did not see a bath house but we have our own facilities.

The sites along the west, 9,10,11, etc are close to the water, but in hot weather you get afternoon sun pretty bad. Also, we noted whiffs of the large septic tank at site 11, but not an issue at 10.
The park Hosts are super great and friendly, they were always around and making sure people were having fun and had anything they needed.
