A great national park. Roads coming in are narrow. Lots of trails. Bathhouse clean with a wonderful shower. Walmart and shopping 30 miles away. No Verizon, no local TV, one radio station. Some electric sites, 3 fhu, water facets on the loop. Some pull thru sites. There are several buddy sites. We would come back again.

Restrooms and showers were nice and clean. Lots of hiking trails and trout pond was pretty and people were swimming. Trash receptacle and dump station upon leaving. Wonderful experience but on weekend I counted 50 kids all with bicycles. Will definitely come back. Long drive down mountain for shopping. Zero cell and internet service.

Stayed here first time 3 years ago and came back with the new pop-up Aliner camper. Got the same site as last time and it is a winner! All the sites are well spaced with some having a little more privacy. There are a few sites with electricity. The host was super helpful and friendly. Note that there is no cell service but the host did say she had a landline for emergencies. On this note, I did find a weak Verizon signal at the overlook that is about a mile up a steep climb from the campground. It was very quiet at night and dark as well. This is forest land so of course there are tons of trees. My site was almost level, not bad. The bathrooms are kept clean and though somewhat dated work well enough including showers. The rate I listed includes senior discount. All in all, if I want to get away from media news and the constant barrage of information, this is a great place to go. I literally had to drive many miles to get an AT&T signal for my hotspot. If you like hiking you are in luck as there is a good bit of that. And there is a little beach area where you can go for a dip if you like.

Downside is there are no signs to the campground from town.
