“Great Spot With Everything You Need ”

We stayed here in May on our way to Alaska and were super excited to find they were still open this late in the year. Power only. The chicken poutine is ridiculously good. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

This is a good place to stop, catch your breath, and do laundry! We make sure our holding tanks are empty and we have just enough fresh water on board to last us through camping/boondocking at points west toward Whitehorse. Please note the rate paid was in Canadian dollars.

May - we ate at the restaurant in May and enjoyed our meals. You should have a drink at the bar and sit in the saddle seats! The wifi is ok if you are close to the main building. We found in the morning Verizon was a better option.
August - We didn't have a reservation but check in was easy. The wifi did not work for us so we're happy to use Starlink for the first time. This is the first spot with coverage (as of Aug 2022) on the Alcan heading South. It was pouring so we didn't use any of the campground offerings this trip.
There is a visitor center across the street that is supposed to have great wifi.
We'll be back next year with Starlink and will enjoy a meal in the restaurant again.

The campground is typical of those found on the Alaska Highway, which is to say because of where you are it’s a nice place to rest. There’s also a gift shop, laundry and clean pay showers, Wi-Fi and cable.
Verizon roaming through TELUS was good.

Tire park, but they are getting the most out of their park. Sites are level and have 30 AMP power. When you check in, they lead you to your site. You are close to the highway, but it calms down at night.

When they heard we didn’t have reservations it was like they were doing us a favor, we were paying the same $45 a night. We were given no information about amenities or any of the usual information. laundry $2 wash, $3 dry. Shower $1/5min. Spot was unlevel, in the sun and swarming with bees. WiFi was barely usable. I have a roaming plan so used that.

It does have a restaurant with an outdoor patio (dog-friendly). The food is good and the beer cold.
Laundry and RV-wash are available but not cheap. Lots of green space for the dog walk and a museum next door. The visitor center is across the street.
Very Friendly staff. 3 stars due to price. 4 stars without price consideration.
