Beautiful aspen stands...plenty of hiking trails of all skill levels. Wonderful little place not too far from the beaten path, but still at almost 9,000 feet. Cool, almost cold nights in June.
Note...this is a heavily used OHV area so if you don't want to hear them on the adjoining roads, do not stay. All quiet well before dark each night and they are not allowed in the campground. Just a warning.

The bathrooms were unlocked and that came in handy. There's a short trail, the Big Al Trail, that leads to a great overlook of the Mancos Canyon. The view is spectacular. There's a lot of Aspen groves that must be incredible when the leaves change in the fall.
