I usually shy away from campgrounds that are mostly seasonal, but Trails RV Park proved me wrong. Everything was clean and well kept up. They had good amenities and were right on a paved bike trail. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. I only wish that we had better cell coverage.
Just us and the dogs would stay here again

Campground is clean, easy pull thru, very close to paved trail (bike, walk, skate) that will take you into Walker (4 miles). Walker is a nice town! Visit the city park and enjoy lunch at Bensons!
Not the greatest cell coverage.
Laura would stay here again

This park purportedly accepts Good Sam and Passport America. Their website indicates you can only use Passport for 2 nights but the Passport website says Sun-Thurs and does not mention a limit. When we checked in, I indicated that we had Good Sam and Passport America. We stayed 2 weekend and 2 week nights. The woman brushed aside the Passport America and said it would be better to use Good Sam as it would apply to all nights. I took for granted that she was doing the right thing. As it turns out it would have been to our benefit to use the Passport, and I suspect she knew that. My bad for not saying something at the time but I tend to trust people. IMHO a bad business model. The interior roads are packed dirt with a bit of gravel. Most of the sites here are seasonal with about 19 sites for overnight campers. The seasonal sites are all very well kept and are quite spacious. The overnight sites are not that wide but are very long with half packed dirt/little gravel and half a hard plastic form filled with small pebbles. They appear to have some washout issues when it rains. You will track dirt around in your vehicles! The sites lean back and toward the driver's side. Even though the sites are long it's a bit of an effort to get level with larger RVs. The utilities worked okay although the breaker tripped when we ran all three A/Cs at the same time. There is quite a lot of rust in the water that was apparent even with filters. There is some grass and small trees between the sites but they are pretty close and there is no privacy. Each site has a picnic table and firepit. There is a nice pool and various games like volleyball and shuffleboard. Directv satellite worked fine. Verizon had 4g with 3 bars. We were able to get on their WII FI with our extender; however, it would go down for no apparent reason several times a day for an hour or more. There is some noise from 371 but it's very quiet at night. We camped here in a motorhome and probably would not return.
