We arrived and we’re greeted by the camp host Nadine, who could not have been any more pleasant. This is truly a gem of a campground if you own an airstream definitely worth the trip. We have also found the area to be most enjoyable.

There are 105 sites and first come first serve..no reservations...Always something available, open year round. A host is on site 7 days a week and the phone is answered everyday 9-5.

Airstream only park. $25/night normally. Reduced rates if you're part of the TOP club in addition to the WBCCI, but quickly pays for itself. It's a member-ran campground and is non-profit. Airstream only park. $25/night normally. Reduced rates if you're part of the TOP club in addition to the WBCCI, but quickly pays for itself. It's a member-ran campground and is non-profit. The members are fantastic and very social with events being ran occasionally. Mostly active during the warmer months and into October for the nearby Helen's Oktoberfest celebrations.
Location is fairly peaceful and is in the North Georgia mountains next to Helen, between Cleveland and Hiawassee.
There is practically no cell signal with any carrier, but the campground Wifi is actually pretty decent. I was able to work Mon - Fri with video calls with only some stuttering. If you have someone running all their cameras, Netflix 4k downloads, etc. on it you may have some slowness when the campground is crowded. Neighbors had Starlink and were able to work off of it.
You may occasionally hear a truck using engine braking on GA-75, otherwise it's pretty quiet.

This is an Airstream-only facility, and if you've got the mark on your rig that says it's an Airstream, it's a wonderful place to be. This is an Airstream-only facility, and if you've got the mark on your rig that says it's an Airstream, it's a wonderful place to be. Water, sewer and electric for only $25/night, and less if you're a member. Good WIFI, clean bathrooms (but no shower). Library and large event space. No picnic table or fire ring. Sites are not large and aren't separated by trees, but if you put your wheels on the concrete pad the sites are level. That's the point here - you're next to other Airstreamers on either side and the lack of any trees or the like makes talking to one another about myriad shared issues all the easier. It's a friendly crowd to be sure. They don't take reservations and usually have openings, but check to see if there is a rally scheduled when you are coming. There was one when we arrived and we were lucky to get a site, but we did. The place is run by volunteers who are members of the local club; they do a great job. You can have Amazon and USPS deliver here for you; put your site in the address, which is always a good idea. Firewood is sold in case you have your own fire device, like a Solo. Love the vibe here and will surely be back. Sharp turn when coming southbound; no problem northbound. Use your GPS and just approach slowly.

We have spent many, many days at Top of Georgia and absolutely love it. The community is wonderful, sites are great, location is beautiful, and the park itself is so peaceful. We have spent many, many days at Top of Georgia and absolutely love it. The community is wonderful, sites are great, location is beautiful, and the park itself is so peaceful.
We part-timed it here for several years by staying during the week (due to work in the area) and going home on the weekend. We had a delightful experience and count our friends made at the Top as some of our favorite folks to keep in touch with.
Definitely recommend staying over at least for a few nights if you’re in the area. Or, if you’re a full timer and looking for a spot to land for a bit - stay for a couple of months!
While most folks seem to camp during the warmer season, we’ve been here in all seasons and enjoyed them all.

Cannot beat the rate for full hookup and cable! Nice hiking trails, beautiful running brook behind our site.
No cell phone with Consumer Cellular but texting worked.

We stayed here over the week of Thanksgiving and are now back for the week of Christmas. We had heard great things from fellow airstreamers but ToG exceeded our expectations. Quiet, clean, extremely well maintained, excellent WiFi, full hookups, great for dogs. No off leash area but there are hiking trails immediately from the campground that go for miles—great for hiking with the dog. Love parking right backed up to the stream and enjoying the sounds of it through the windows. Lots of sunshine — great for solar and staying warm outside even on a chilly day. Could sit out in the pavilions and work from home with great WiFi provided. Definitely recommend joining WBAC for the $15 rate—pays for itself very quickly. Easy access to all that North GA has to offer, as quick drive to Helen where we were pleasantly surprised with some of the newer restaurants And ships (we grew up near here and were never big fans with how touristy it is). Really great camp hosts and other campers nearby—
