We didn't use their WiFi. The laundry was clean and machines worked well. Campground is primarily filled with seasonal campers, yet there are plenty of sites for those just passing through. Beautiful views of the lake from some sites. Sites are almost level. Can accommodate large rigs. There is a convenient dump on site.
The owners are super nice. And other campers seemed friendly. So peaceful throughout the campground. You can hear the loons in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

So, we were supposed to stay overnight at Wanoka Lake, but the weather & mosquitoes made it less than desirable. So, we called last minute to Top o’ The Morn campground and they had a nice pull-thru available for the night. We didn’t even have to unhitch. Stopped in the office to say hi & register, and ended up going back during cocktail hours for a Wisconsin Old Fashioned and a “Wisconsinitis” beer, and some great conversation with the owners. We definitely recommend this campground and hope to return someday.

Our site, 30, was a pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is okay for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation barrier ours did not. Each site has a table and most have a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was clean and well maintained. There are many sites used by locals as weekend retreats. All were nicely manicured and not trashy at all.
The park included wifi worked reasonably well. There is no cable TV nor did we did find any OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean.
There is a playground, wharf and boat launch for use by registered guests only. There is an on site pub (but it was not open during our short stay)
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away in Iron River you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a very nice overnighter. We paid $37.98 (inc tax) per night and we feel we received good value. We will be back if in the area again.

This was our first time camping in this area and the campground was chosen due to its location and it’s amenities. Our main stop was the Apostle Islands but we wanted to do a little boating, swimming and a lot of relaxing. Due to the Covid-19 breakout, the campground, like many others, have limited activities and access. For Top O the Morn this meant the lodge, showers and bathrooms were closed. However, the beach and boat rentals were still open. I fell in love with the campground. Our site was incredible, enough mature pines that you could hang a hammock and shade was sufficient with plentiful sun. A few sites seemed a little tight and two faced each other, perfect for camping with friends. There was a beautiful cool breeze that blew off the lake that felt like heaven after the blistering heat in northern Illinois. The owners were great. They are friendly, helpful and will do whatever they can to make your stay better. The campground is located on one of the bigger lakes in the immediate area and you could look into the lake near shore and see bluegill. The pontoon boat we rented was priced very affordable. It was clean and ran like a dream. The lake is big enough to tow a tube around and have a lot of fun. All in all, this is a great campground and we will be back next year for sure.
