Stayed here Fri-Sunday. Not a lot of privacy. Sites are close and small. A mix of campers and some who appeared to be homeless. Police showed up Sunday morning to talk to some. Dirty older bathrooms even though the park rangers were around most of the day. Garbage is at the beginning of the camp so you have to drive all the way around... more
Stayed here Fri-Sunday. Not a lot of privacy. Sites are close and small. A mix of campers and some who appeared to be homeless. Police showed up Sunday morning to talk to some.
Dirty older bathrooms even though the park rangers were around most of the day. Garbage is at the beginning of the camp so you have to drive all the way around to get to it. Dog park next to it was nice but hot.
Highway noise is loud. Boardwalk is nice.
Close to town and interstate for convenience.

This is another campground I'd like to give 4.5 stars. It's conveniently located just off the interstate, but doesn't feel like it's that close to civilization. This is another campground I'd like to give 4.5 stars. It's conveniently located just off the interstate, but doesn't feel like it's that close to civilization. The sites are unpaved, but nicely level. The park is beautiful and well maintained. The camp hosts were wonderful. As with another reviewer, I found that the electric post for my reserved site was very far away. The host, Pam, generously offered to loan me a longer cord. However, she was able to relocate me to a better site that didn't require an extension. Pam went above and beyond - I very much appreciate her assistance!
There's a small amount of noise from the interstate highway, but I didn't find it distracting. The showers were included in the cost of the campsite. The bathroom was basic but clean. There's potable water and a dump station available at no charge to campers. Amenities such as gas, ice and food just a few minutes away.
I would definitely stay here again.

“Good walking path, beautiful grounds, right near the highway”

Stayed here for one night as I was going out west. The only issue I had was site 14 needed a 30 amp extension, but the camp host has them upon request. There’s some really good walking paths all around, and a really nice wetland trail. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at site 9, and I could look out at the beautiful field while working remotely with impeccable service. There are trees and birds everywhere with luckily not too many people. The walk to the bathroom was a bit far, but it’s a path through the woods, so it’s gorgeous. Facilities were clean and smelled surprisingly good.
You can faintly hear the highway in the distance at night, but it’s in a nice location near a lot of stores and stuff even though it feels like you’re really deep into nature. I look forward to visiting again one day.

Passed through on our way to the badlands and needed a place to stay for night. We arrived just before sunset and we were able to take a nice stroll on their boardwalk through wetlands. Lots of fauna. This is a really nice little campground and very clean. Bathrooms were good.
