If you’re in this part of Mississippi and looking for a campground, then I think you’ll be happy camping here. The campsites are level concrete pads with nice views of the lake. The electrical hook ups are a bit outdated, but they work. There’s plenty of civil war, battleground, monuments, and historical blues monuments all over north Mississippi.

Overall Rating
There are a limited number of spots maybe 10-15 and when we were there there was only maybe 3-4 available. But once we got set up it was a nice peaceful spot to camp for the night. When we got there there was no one at the guard house and there was a sign saying it was $22 and it was an honor system. We had to put the money in an envelope and slide it through the slot. It says you need to get a pass but when we were there everyone we spoke to did not have a pass and just paid through the envelope system. There are some bathrooms near by but only toliets no showers.
