We had such a great experience at Timberline Lake. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the other campers were welcoming, our site was absolutely beautiful and the activities were fun! Will definitely be back.

What a nice place! Peaceful, quiet and nature all around. It is a close drive to the Jersey shore. Beautiful lake that you can actually swim in. Separate pool. The campground was clean. Grass sites that were fairly level. Wi-fi was very good! This is rare.
The night sky is amazing, full of stars. We will return next year for sure!

First off no longer accepts Passport America. This is a campground full of full timers, very little transient population. Sites are loaded with peoples junque and looks messy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The site was pull through and despite big ruts from recent rains was fairly level. The laundry functions, machines $2 a load, no table for folding laundry. No vending machines for supplies or change machines. Water and electric only.
Fire pit and picnic table no shade at my site #304. The lake is pretty. Was in the right place for a stopover to get some work done.

This campground accepts the Passport America discount for 30 days, including weekends! The staff is great, constantly cleaning and improving the campground, there's a nice pool, a lake, rec hall, playgrounds, and game room. Sites are somewhat close in certain spots, but arranged so you don't feel like your neighbors are on top of you. There's only one shower house, and from the first site we stayed at, it was quite a hike. But at least it was clean and well kept. There is free wifi, but it can be spotty at times, especially when camp is full.
Easy drive to Little Egg Harbor and points on the Jersey Shore, Wharton State Forest, and hiking and biking areas. We spent nearly a month here and would happily go back.

Front desk mAnager tam lynn is extremely rude and cursed at me! Save your money, public knowledge, go check out all there terrible reviews on google! The owners scott& kathy have all there friends& familly & the ones that live there full time all year round which isnt allowed! Post all good reviews on there facebook page! When me and my familly were there! Theres no hot water in the bath house! Cottages smells like marijuana and cigarettes! The bathrooms have moldy shower curtains, they never get sanitized, the laundry facility is so small everyone fights over the washers! They as well never get cleaned and sanitized! Everyone gets drunk, noone wears a mask and we had complete strangers so drunk running up to us! Terrible place for kids to see! Forget using your labtop or cell phone if your running a business or just need to call someone because they shut there wifi off at 5pm during the day everyone is on there phones so all day & night no phone service
