The pads are roughly the same elevation as Death Valley Junction, so temperatures would be closer to that location. It should be different than the valley floor.

Elevation at “The Pads” is around 4,000 feet. Furnace Creek is -190 feet elevation.

There is no weather station at "The Pads", But yes you can assume it is at least 15 degree cooler the valley floor. It is at the top of the pass. There usually is a breeze. During winter it will drop below freezing.
