This was a great place to stay for our trip exploring Southeast Oregon! The owners were super nice! The place was very clean! WiFi was not great would be the only downside.

We were scheduled to stay for a week but are leaving early because our Verizon hotspot doesn't work until the evening and even my phone drops calls. It is a good location for scenic drives in the area and the owner is very nice but we need internet and could never get their internet to work either. There is a restaurant on the premises which must be good because we went there once and couldn't get a seat. One warning: don't take the Princeton Spur road that goes straight east from the park because it's 20 miles of gravel. By the time we got to the park our RV and car were completely caked with dust and we were not allowed to wash it even though I offered to pay extra. Highway 205 next to the park is a good road with great views.

It’s very close to the Mahler Wildlife Refuge which is something to see. Also close to Steens Mountain which has some amazing views.
We’ll be returning this Spring when the migratory birds come through.

Only caveat is, cell service is spotty; ATT sucks and Verison is iffy. But this is the nature of Eastern Oregon. BTW, wifi here is good to excellent for an RV park (only 10 other campers here at the moment).

My wife and I decided to enjoy some time out and about Steens Mountain and used The Narrows as a jumping off point for a good part of our stay. Staff is very friendly, the new owners are helpful, and the restaurant food is fine enough. They have a store, gas and propane, so this is also a great spot for getting provisions for some dry camping and for coming back to empty the tanks and reset.
We will be back.

Once settled we did some laundry and went to the office to see about the wildlife refuge up the road. The owners are amazing and so helpful.
One of the staff was super kind and accommodating, the other should not work with the public, and made you want to go elsewhere.
Cute little store with basic items, a coffee shop, and small cafe. We did not eat, but did grab a few items from the store, and coffee in the morning before we headed out.
They do offer free wifi, but the signal is very poor and only useable if you are right by the building being eaten by mosquitos. Very poor phone signal as well. That said, you are in the middle of nowhere.
All in all a great spot for getting done what we needed to do. We would go back if we were in the area and needed to have hook ups and laundry facilities.

I stayed at the Narrows as its only a short ride to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The usual hookups worked fine. WiFi was weak, but strong enough for email. Employees were helpful and the café was worth stopping at; it ain't gourmet, but it provides decent fare. It apparently has several busy periods -- various hunting seasons & spring for bird watching. I had to drive to a hill by the Refuge to get a decent cell signal. Unfortunately the smoke from fires elsewhere in Oregon and Canada made it difficult to appreciate the natural scenery. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the Spring.

Camp hosts were all very polite and friendly. Walked us directly to our site, which was a nice sized pull-through. Site was very level, and long enough that we didn't need to disconnect to stay there. Small trees, green grass, and picnic table at every site. Power was consistent, & water pressure was great. We had full hookups. Campground had gasoline & diesel pumps, as well as they sold propane. Prices were a little higher than we usually pay, but sometimes any fuel price is better than risking running out. Their camping supply store stocked several items that might be necessary in an out of the way place, and were very reasonably priced. We did not use the showers nor the laundry room. This campground is reasonably close to the Steen Mountain loop, and if you stay here, you simply must take a few hours and take that drive. Absolutely stunning scenery there. We drove our quads directly from our campsite, to the west, on some gravel and dirt roads, and had an enjoyable day riding. Even saw 3 herds of wild horses, totaling more than 100. Cell service was not so good with Sprint. We stayed here in our 2017 Stealth Toyhauler. We would definitely stay here again.
