Dry camping is still available behind the RV park and is $7 per night. I only stayed one night, so didn’t inquire about a dump station or water but another resident told me they were both available.

The park no longer accepts dry camping. Said they are doing major renovation and the dry camping is gone. Now only a very crowded parking lot and no spaces available

I highly recommend this place if you need a safe chill spot going thru town.

We arrived around 11 AM and there was no problem checking in early. 20, 30, and 50 amp service in what appeared to be relatively new pedestals. Water is located slightly below ground level to avoid freezing. Sewer is at ground level so we did not need any crazy slanting need to get the slinky to drain. The good part! The restaurant ... more

The good part! The restaurant at the park is called Avery’s and it had the 2nd best brisket we have ever had! The service was great, price reasonable for 2 people gettin 2 each 1/3 pound bbq, onion rings, and drinks $39 before tip.
There is a museum called Casa Malpais about the indigenous people here and we have been told there is evidence of ancient peoples nearby. We have not gone to see either yet.
It is late March and the wind is blowing very hard. Springerville is at 7,000 feet and we have gotten some sleet and light snow.
