The campground was easy to find off I-70 last April. If it’s your first time, follow your GPS through two traffic circles then back around to the campground (CG). Check-in was super fast and we were escorted to pull through site 48 with FHUs. As we've stayed here before, We liked this site as there are trees but they won’t get in the way of parking maneuvers. Some of the other sites in this CG, not so much, so look up and watch your turn into the pull-throughs. No issues with utilities as they are smartly placed on the pad and work to include decent water pressure. The Wifi was above average for this type of private CG, but there were not many people here near the end of April. Water pressure is decent and we got 3 bars on Verizon. Along with saying hi to the goats again, this CG was once again a good choice.

Cost was $60 a night for a full hook up site. You pay for your whole site cost at the time of the reservation. Most sites are gravel. The campground had WIFI that was fast enough to stream. When I made our reservation, they were given the type and size of our RV and truck. When we arrived, we were told that we would not be able to get into that site due to the turns (too tight). They were able to move us to another site. What was the purpose of asking at reservation time the information about our RV and truck if you are not going to use it? We had to unhook and was not able to park our truck on our site. We had to leave it in the parking lot. There is only water hooks on every other site so depending what site you get, you might have to run your water hose under your RV to hook up. Sites are very close together. I would concern if our neighbor had a fire in their fire pit as it was under our bedroom slide. Our firepit had cigarette butts in it. There is an enclosed dog park. Many areas for children to play – bounce pillow, playground, gem mining, etc. I would not stay here again as they cannot handle large RVs and the sites are too close together. Due to the small site, as we were hooking up to leave, we blocked the road. This meant others had to drive through other sites to get around.

We came in last min. On our way back east. Spots couldn’t be any nicer. Wish we could have stayed longer with all the amenities offered. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful… even driving you to your spot and then guiding you in. Will definitely stop here on the return trip!

We stayed in a premium patio site at this campground which had a nice privacy fence on one side and ample cement patio with a small grill and wrought iron patio furniture. It is nicely shaded in most sites and quiet despite being not far from the highway. Shopping for groceries, etc. Is about 10 min away. This is a former KOA campground, so you'll expect it to have a layout (a mix of paved (super premium) and gravel RV sites, cabins and tent sites) and amenities of other adorned KOAs. Among other things, it has a pool, jump pad and playground for the kids, small store, kid "race track", gem panning, etc. The best and most fun thing about this park are the friendly resident donkeys and goats, which we and our pup enjoyed visiting each day!

Very nice RV park. Short one night stay on a long road trip. Several renovations in process. Nice play area for kids with a small petting zoom. Door Dash services this area which was a nice bonus. Only one bath/shower faculty during renovations so that wasn’t great considering it’s sharing a shower/bath combo facility for men/women.

This review is based on a short-term stay versus a destination campground (CG). It was an interesting drive to the CG off I-70 through 2 traffic circles and into the CG as it's close to I-70 but not right off the highway. There was good signage to the CG. The office was closed on a Monday at about 5:00 PM but our paperwork was in the slots outside the office. We followed the provided CG map to pull through site 51 with FHUs. On our second stay two days later we were guided into site 47 with FHUs. Two sites share utilities. This was a nice CG for an overnighter on the way to and from Elkhart, IN for RV maintenance. They have a good-sized dog park. We got 4 bars each on Verizon and T-Mobile. There are mature trees in this CG, but you should not have a problem getting a satellite signal. We got a lot of OTA channels as the CG does not have cable. WiFi performed well for a CG this size. The water pressure was decent. For site 47, watch the tree to the right as you turn in as we brushed our awning. They have tent sites and cabins. There were permanent/transit/seasonal parties here and their sites for the most part were well maintained. The goats and donkeys were a pleasant addition.

We were looking for a place to stay the night (we were driving through from northeast Ohio to southwest Arkansas). Through Campendium I found this campground. It was too late to use their reservation system (which didn't seem to allow/accept same day reservations) but FAQ section of their website gave instructions for those who arrive after hours without reservations, so we gave it a shot.
It was easy to get to from I70. It was about 8 pm (the office closes at 6 pm). Locating an available spot was the easiest we have encountered... at a well lit corner of the office building were slots for every site, and a map of the campground. For sites that were available there was a laminated card with the site's information (size; services e.g. electric, sewer, if it was a pull through; and cost). For those sites that were reserved but people had not shown up yet, there were packets with the last names (which presumably contained all the info they needed for their stay). We just needed to pick a site, take the laminated card from its slot, take one of the provided maps, and an after hours registration envelope and then proceed to our site to set up (we had a pull through site with full hook ups; the cost was $62 but with Good Sam discount paid $56). A pleasant related experience: while looking at the available site information, a woman passing by asked if we had ever been there before. When we said no, she enthusiastically told us how much she and her family loved the place, that they come every year, some campground information, and gave advice on sites and driving to the site (it was dark so that info is always helpful).
We noticed a number of amenities even though dark, and then more the next morning as we walked our dogs. There is a short walking trail through the woods (the outer most sites are up against or under trees; those in the middle had either one to a few trees or no trees). There is a pet exercise area (a no leash place for your dogs to scurry around). There is a large playground with what looked like a lot of things for the kids to play on. Getting to the playground is through a little covered bridge which is not only cool but is needed because the playground is nearly surrounded by large enclosed areas containing two donkeys (mules?), and adorable sheep and tiny goats. I believe you can pet the animals, but even if not they are adorable to watch. There is also an "outdoor kitchen" which is a common area near the office with a large fire pit and lots of seating. There are a number of amenities we didn't use on our quick visit (I suggest perusing their website).
This is a family owned campground (one of four they have). They obviously care about their campgrounds and the people who stay there. The campground is near to I70 which initially worried me, because repetitious, constant noise drives me nuts :) but it turned out to not be a problem at all... it was far enough away that the the traffic sound was more like white noise which I didn't even notice after a while. While you can tell that the buildings are older, they are well maintained and clean. There is only one bathroom facility (with showers) which is in the office/camp store building, but because the campground is fairly small it is not far to walk at all if you need them. There are cabins to rent, spots for tent camping, and trailer/motor home sites; we saw nearly every size of RV from pop-ups to Class A's. The rates vary depending on site size and services; they give a discount for Good Sam or military personnel (and one other discount but cannot recall what that one was). We would definitely stay there again if driving through the area or visiting Terre Haute.
