This was a gem. It’s for smaller rvs and tents but if you can fit you should try it. We stayed in a 25 ft RV towing a jeep which we unhooked right at the entrance. There are 5 tent sites and 5 rv sites. Each site has a picnic table,grill and fire ring. There are vault toilets which we didn’t use.
Very clean, spacious and quiet. The bathhouse is a little too far but it’s clean. Very friendly staff. If you have access to a military base, I highly recommend it. They also have cabins for rent.

Arrived at 8 pm on a weeknight, lots of available level sites. Will stay again when in need of an overnight on this stretch of the 5. Tip for arriving after 8 when staff closes the entry kiosk: just pick an empty site and pay on way out in morning. When we arrived and were shown our “water view” site, we were shocked. It was very small and there was no room for our car. The woman on duty was very pleasant and she moved us to a pull through site at no additional charge, as she put it.

Artillery Ridge is located, essentially, within the Gettysburg Battlefield. The location is what makes this a great choice to stay while touring the area.
