We checked this area out while camping at Teagle Wash Road Dispersed. It's about 1.2 miles off of Trona Road via Pinnacles/Teagle Wash/RM143 with a left on RM 7. The road becomes a bit sandy once you hit the wash about 0.4 miles (sites for Teagle Wash Road Dispersed are here). You can also get there by Stephens Mine Road, although ... more

It's about 1.2 miles off of Trona Road via Pinnacles/Teagle Wash/RM143 with a left on RM 7. The road becomes a bit sandy once you hit the wash about 0.4 miles (sites for Teagle Wash Road Dispersed are here). You can also get there by Stephens Mine Road, although I would not recommend it. There is quite a series of dips in the road once you turn on RM 7. Outhouses were clean and serviced.
There are many flat areas for camping located here. This an OHV open riding area, probably an area to avoid on the weekends.
If you are interested in navigating the OHV areas, download AvenzaMaps App and then download the FOJ (Friends of Jawbone) OHV map. The map will use your phone's GPS system even when you have no cell service.

There are several 'campsites', and at least two bathrooms. The ground around the campsites is relatively level, so leveling our Class B wasn't difficult. The drive out from the paved road was mostly sand and easily navigated.
The surrounding area has a lot of bike trails, which are also great for hiking, but even during the winter this will attract a lot of bikers. The engine noises from nearby highways and other OHV areas can clearly be heard.

This is a great place to stay. Dirt roads to get to the sites but they aren’t sandy and deep. My minivan made it with no problem. There was nobody else around when I stayed here. I would definitely stay here again.
