On the edge of town along the Chippewa River State Bike trail. 10 RV sites with hook-ups and 14 tent sites. 8 tent sites have electricity and are on to of the hill close to the bathrooms and main road. The lower tent sites got quite wet/muddy with rain. You are asked to call ahead to reserve and check reservations on their website. Website says tents $10. Pay envelopes at the campground say $5. Essentially they said we could tent anywhere in the area (tent sites aren’t numbered). Just pull your vehicle off the road. Besides having electricity and being close to flush toilets, the upper sites have a lovely view. Downside is traffic. The upper sites are on a dead end entry to the public swimming pool. It currently is not open but they have a major city project to upgrade. This will increase traffic when open. However, campers supposedly can use the showers. No showers at this time. The site is also across from the HS sports complex. Practice and a track meet meant parking in the park in front of tent sites. We did not find this an issue. The road was heavily traveled with truck traffic the first night but, much quieter the second. Although it was quite heavily traveled. No picnic tables or fire rings for tent sites. Overall we were very happy with the campground. A good value, lovely town and area.
