“Disappointed In New Management ”

We have camped here 4 years now for bike week. 2 years ago it was bought by Modern American. Since, the staff is very young, and not professional. There is little to no maintenance being done. Dogs allowed to run off leash. It did not interfere with our stay, however we may not return.

Unnecessarily unfriendly staff. Unlevel spots. Dirty bathroom. Overall not kept up. Long list of rules about things not adhered to. Dumpsters nearby buried in bags of trash

We came here for a small rally. We were assigned to the Safari area which had a mix of full hookup and water and electric only sites. Although we only secured a w/e spot, it didn't matter for 3 nights. Our issue was that our neighbor, who claimed to be a long time RVer was parked head in to a back-in spot. This made it difficult for us to stay within our assigned spot and didn't allow us to extend our awning.
As the neighbor was part of the rally, we didn't want to make it a big issue, so we let it ride, but we did suggest to the management that they add a line to the campground rules to only allow parking in the assigned direction. The team at the park were very gracious and had us move to another spot in the Safari area, even having the staff help with moving the stabilizer pads and lining us up. From then on, all was good.
The campground store is sufficient and has the basics. We didn't use any of the other facilities except the pavilion in the safari group area. The sites in the wooded areas look amazing with some being right near the river.
The new management is planning upgrades and improvements to the park. They are now part of a New England network of RV parks. We plan to return to stay in one of the wooded spots, in the near future. Oh, be advised that there is shooting range across the road. While it didn't impact us much, mainly due to the inclement weather, it could be an issue if the is a shooting match.

Thought I was going to state park but no dogs allowed. Boondocked one night. No power or water in the meadow sites. There is a bathroom and quarter operated shower and laundry. If you bring dogs have rabies tags or certificate current. There’s a chronologically challenged rooster but once the sun went down he stopped

We were stuck in NH and needed a place for one night while passing through. We found Tamworth Camping Area through Passport America. They were very accommodating. We were lucky enough to find this hidden gem of a campground in eastern NH. The site we stayed in had full hookups and was very well manicured. They have several full hookup sites that can accommodate large rigs, however, their other sites are smaller and would be great for tent campers or small rigs under 25 ft. The campground has a small swimming area on the river, along with several other river access areas, perfect for swimming or fishing. They have a cute petting zoo with several animals and sell feed in the store. The bathrooms are clean, although the showers are quarter-operated. The office staff was incredibly friendly. There are very affordable laundry facilities on-site, as well. Finally, AT&T and Verizon connectivity were very strong. Verizon had 20+mbps download speeds.
We noticed that there was some construction underway, so we look forward to seeing their upgrades on our next visit.
